An installation for the Underbelly Festival 2007, at Carriageworks.

Stephanie and I quite literally examined the social fabric of Redfern, weaving culture and history together with wordplay. Objects found in the area were hung and lit so their shadows spelt the words 'Wrong side of the tracks / White side of the law' on the corridor walls. Stephanie wove into found fences that was suspended from the ceiling – a boat, a flag and the last one bearing the text 'No one is above the lore'. Through the installation ran sound of the local Currawongs.
